Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, go through customs and immigration and met by our company guide who will warmly welcome you and drive to booked hotel for overnight stay.
- Overnight: The Manor, Kigali/The Retreat/Hotel De Milles
- Meals: Bed & Breakfast
Have breakfast and meet your driver at hotel’s lobby who will share a short briefing and drive you to visit the Kigali genocide memorial grounds, which honors more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building. You will be able to watch and listen to some video clips from some of the survivors of the incident. Later have lunch and drive to Ruhengeri. You will make a stop at Ellen DeGeneres Campus of Diane Fossey Institute; a research and education center. Later check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:00 am with a pre-tracking briefing from the Rwanda park officials. This trek is a guided one and it takes 2 – 6 hours depending on where the group assigned is at that particular day but meeting them is guaranteed.
In the afternoon, you can either relax by the lodge, have massage or visit Iby’ Iwacu cultural center to learn more about the local community.

After breakfast, depart Volcanoes for Kigali. You will have lunch Kigali city before drop off at your hotel or airport.
